In a bid to defend their Uganda Premier League title and make it huge in the CAF Champions League, Vipers Soccer Club skipper Milton Karisa has preached consistency in the team.

Despite the fact that the Venoms aren’t doing bad this season, they are yet to replicate last season’s excellence, where they won the league with 18 points more than their nearest rivals KCCA FC.

“We have shown very good performances this year, but we haven’t had that consistency this month and that’s something we need to improve,” Karisa noted after Vipers last training session.

At the moment, Vipers have 27 points, just two behind toppers KCCA FC and have Busoga United next on the cards on Tuesday at the FUFA Technical Center, Njeru.

“I think the next game is always the one we focus on and one where you can start a good run and get that consistency and confidence back,” noted Karisa.

The Kitende side hold absolute dominance over the Eastern region outfit, as the former has won eight of the previous 11 meetings since 2016, with just one loss and two stalemates.
