GULU, August 27, 2026 — The Uganda Prisons Service (UPS) women’s netball team produced a dominant display at the 18th Inter-Forces Games and Target Shooting Championship, defeating Uganda Wildlife Authority (UWA) 127–8 in their second match of the competition.
UPS took control from the opening quarter, leading 36–3, before extending the advantage to 64–4 at half-time. The Prisons side continued its dominance in the third quarter, moving to 98–5, and completed the match with a commanding 127–8 victory.
The emphatic result demonstrated UPS’s attacking strength, defensive organisation and consistency throughout the game.

The victory sets up a decisive final group match against UPDF tomorrow, with UPS looking to maintain its momentum and finish the competition strongly.
The clash is expected to provide another major test for the Prisons side as it pursues top honours in the netball competition.
