Uganda’s national netball team, the She Cranes, will return to action this Thursday with their sights set on edging Scotland. A win would help them finish in a respectable position, laying the groundwork for a solid overall tournament standing.

In Group B of the ongoing Commonwealth Games, Uganda won its opening two games against Wales and Trinidad & Tobago, but subsequently fell to Jamaica and New Zealand.

With third place on the line in this final group match, Uganda must pull up its socks against a host side that will be buoyed by a boisterous home crowd.

Head Coach Rashid Mubiru sternly warned his players, demanding absolute focus to secure the victory and claim third place in Pool B.

He emphasized that the team must not underestimate the Scottish side. After a tough 58–50 defeat to New Zealand ended their medal aspirations, Mubiru urged his squad to maintain discipline and intensity to finish their Commonwealth campaign on a high note
