Despite back to back victories over Blacks Power FC and UPDF FC, Wakiso Giants FC head coach John ‘Ayala’ Luyinda believes his side is only starting to show their potential and feels the best is yet to come.

The tactician observed that, should his team begin to fully capitalize on the mammoth of chances created, they can cause serious scares.

“We are still a work in progress. The fact that we create chances means we are somewhere. However, we shall create time and find a way to get sharper,” he said to the media on Tuesday after their 1-0 over UPDF.

“We need to convert more of the chances being created upfront,” Luyinda reiterated.

Moses Aliro got the Purple Sharks’ only goal on Tuesday at the Bombo Military Barracks Grounds which took them to seven points in fourth, in four games.

The Giants had beaten Lira outfit Blacks Power 2-1 in their previous outing.

“The boys put in all that was needed. They always follow instructions and am happy we picked another win,” he concluded.

Wakiso Giants started with a 3-2 loss against KCCA before they were held by Maroons FC to a goalless stalemate.

The Sharks will have a stiffer test in their next outing, when they play hosts to URA FC on the 1st of November.
