“We want to win away for the first time, which has been our biggest challenge.”

URA FC head coach Hussein Mbalangu set the tone ahead of Tuesday’s Uganda Premier League clash with Police FC, as his side continue their search for a first away win of the season.

Mbalangu says URA must fix their away form and be more decisive in both boxes.

“We have worked on improving our defence and being more clinical in front of goal,” he said.

“We are in 11th position, which does not reflect our quality, and we must do everything possible to win on Tuesday.”

URA travel without five players Olimi Nyarwa, Hudu Mulikyi, Joseph Ssemujju, Abdu Magada and Arthur Kiggundu leaving the squad stretched for the trip to Kiira.

Police FC are also missing key men, with Mathias Muwanga, Otto Daniel, Ivan Eyamu and Derrick Maviiri ruled out.

Both teams come into the game with mixed form. URA drew 1-1 with BUL FC last time out, while Police are fresh from a 2-1 comeback win away to Mbarara City.

Their recent meetings have been tight. The reverse fixture ended goalless, while last season Police beat URA at home thanks to a Umaru Kasumba brace.

Police sit seventh with 38 points and could rise to fifth with a win, depending on other results.

URA are 11th on 26 points and would only add to their tally with victory, but remain in the same position.

Elsewhere, Buhimba United Saints host Vipers, Maroons visit Mbarara City FC, BUL face UPDF, Entebbe UPPC meet KCCA, and Express take on NEC.
