KCCA FC has confirmed that African football legend, Sheyi Emmanuel Adebayor will visit the MTN Omondi Stadium, Lugogo.
The former Arsenal forward is on an African tour as a brand ambassador for betting company 22BET, in an initiative that brings together various gambling firms and their clients.
It’s on the same grounds that Adebayor visited Tusker Football Club of Kenya at the start of the year (January 2023).
Worth noting though, the former Togo National team striker retired from football in March, calling it quits on a successful 22-year career.
He featured for Metz and Monaco in France, Arsenal, Manchester City, and Tottenham Hotspur in England, and Real Madrid in Spain, while he had spells in Togo, Paraguay, and Turkey.
Adebayor is a former African Player of the Year in 2008, but he also got named Togo Player of the Year for five years in succession, between 2005-2010.
