In the world of marketing and branding, when two big brands join hands, the promised land is definitely the next destination.

This is the sole idea of the Uganda Cricket male national team and Kampala City Council Authority football club’s new partnership which will see both entities supporting one another.

This was sealed during KCCA FC’s last home game in the league, a 3-2 victory against Aura Hills FC at the Philip Omondi Stadium.

Led by team Captain Brian Masaba, Frank Nsubuga, Riazat Ali Shah, Henry Ssenyondo, Fred Achellam, and Deus Muhumuza exchanged Cricket Cranes customised replicas with KCCA FC players.

This brotherhood gesture was after the final whistle and in return, KCCA FC players led by Captain Benjamin Ochan, Allan Okello, Shaban Muhammad, Kiiza Mustafa, and Filbert Obenchan returned the favour.

To cut the long story short, KCCA FC family is expected to pay a courtesy visit to one of the cricket grounds and add value to the Cricket Cranes brand.
