Eight UPL clubs slapped with hefty fine

The Local Football governing body, FUFA has fined eight Uganda Premier League sides 2,000,000 shillings, as each missed the deadline for the criteria ‘A’ requirements.

The set deadline was 18th July but has now been extended till Wednesday 27th July, 2022.

The eight include, Express FC,
Onduparaka FC, Busoga United, and Soltilo Bright Stars.

UPDF FC and the newly promoted trio of Maroons FC, Blacks Power and Kyetume are also yet to submit theirs.

Meanwhile, Vipers SC, KCCA FC, Wakiso Giants FC, BUL FC, URA, Arua Hill SC, Gaddafi FC and record champions SC Villa finalized the submission.
