In their first match after the departure of head coach Morley Byekwaso, KCCA FC will have his former deputy Badru Kaddu Mukasa take over the reins.

Kaddu will be in charge as the Kasasiro Boys visit bogey side URA FC in the Uganda Premier League on Wednesday at the Mehta Stadium, Lugazi.

“KCCA is a big club that wants to fight for all trophies but unfortunately, we are only in one competition at the moment,” said the tactician in his first media engagement ahead of URA.

“We go into the game to pick maximum points and we are confident of victory,” the optimistic gaffer added.

The Kasasiro Boys occupy second on the 15-team log with 38 points, five adrift of leaders SC Villa, who have played two games more and host Arua Hill SC later on Wednesday.

While KCCA has struggled in the recent past failing to win each of their last four games across all competitions, URA on the other side looks revamped.

The Tax Collectors have picked four victories in their past six games and have ascended on the log to fifth with 30 points.

Last time out though, the Taxmen were held to a barren stalemate by Arua Hill at the Barifa Stadium in West Nile.
