KCCA FC will be fully aware of the challenge that lies ahead as they welcome Big League side Mbarara City FC in the round of 16 of the Stanbic Uganda Cup.

KCCA FC Coach Morley Byekwaso asserted his team is keen on making progress to the last eight but are cognizant of the threat posed by today’s opponents at the Philip Omondi Stadium.

“They know how to answer our questions, very resilient and we cannot underestimate them because this competition is very hard,” Byekwaso said.

“We have prepared well, had buildup matches, rested well and I believe we’re in a good position to face our opponents.”

To make this stage, KCCA FC comfortably beat Kataka FC 3-0, while Mbarara edged Admin FC 1-0 at Kakyeka Stadium in the Round of 32.
