Kitara’s spending spree lands them striker Brian Aheebwa

Newly promoted Uganda Premier League side, Kitara Football Club continue to strengthen their ranks and have thus landed forward Brian Aheebwa.

The former KCCA FC striker has signed a one-year contract with the Hoima based outfit, who are keen on having a strong season upon their topflight return.

Aheebwa has been a free agent ready for the taking, after being released by KCCA, following the expiry of his contract.

Meanwhile at Kitara, he will link up with his former coach, Brian Ssenyondo with whom he worked at Mbarara City FC previously.

He has become the tenth signing for the club following the arrivals of Chrispus Kusiima from Gadaffi FC, Frank ‘Zaga’ Tumwesigye from Vipers and Jude Ssemugabi from Mbarara City.

Kitara has also netted down Hamim Semakula, Ibrahim Magandaazi, Luwalo Kipper, Sabir Yasin and Shafiq Magogo from UPDF Football Club.
