Midfielder Anthony Mayanja has left long time employers Busoga United and joined their richer neighbors BUL FC.

The full of energy player penned down a two-year contract with the Oil Manufacturers, becoming their fifth signing in the current window.

Moments after the Wednesday unveiling, Mayanja was full of fighting talk, claiming how ready he is to guide the club to future glory.

“I am excited to join the winning team,” he started in interview with the Club’s Media.

“BUL won the Uganda cup last season and I come to provide more efforts so that we can win more trophies in the coming seasons.”

“I am ready for the task at hand especially in the CAF confederation cup, even if the competition is not easy, we are going there to compete, not to participate.”

Mayanja joins Frank Kalanda, Ronald Otti, Emmanuel Obua and goal keeper Tom Ikara, all of which have been part of the summer signing spree.

BUL will feature in their first ever continental competition (CAF Confederation Cup) and their transfer business is justifiable.
