Uganda U20 defender Musa Ramathan has completed a move to United States of America outfit FC Cincinnati 2.

The former KCCA FC player joins the second tier side from Czech National Football League side MFK Vyskov on an initial loan move through 2022, but reportedly, with an option to seal a permanent move.

However, reports have it that the 20 year old’s move is subject to the League and FUFA approval, plus an ITC and work authorization.

“I’d like to welcome Musa to Cincinnati,” said Tyrone Marshall, Head Coach of FC Cincinnati 2 on Tuesday.

“He is a physical central defender with great potential who we believe can help our group and develop within the FC Cincinnati environment.” he added.

Musa was part of the Uganda Hippos team that made it to the finals of the 2021 Africa U20 Cup of Nations in Mauritania, before they lost 2-0 to Ghana.

He joined Vyskov early this year from KCCA, together with Aziz Kayondo, who a week back completed his move to Real Salt.

FC Cincinnati 2 is an American professional soccer team based in Cincinnati, Ohio, United States. It is the reserve team of FC Cincinnati and features in the MLS Next Pro.
