Nyonyi Nyange was recalled from the 26-21 quarterfinals loss to Mbwa and went on to defend the Bika Netball Shield.
In the final, Nyonyi Nyange defeated Mamba Namakaka 32-27 at Muteesa II Wankulukuku Stadium.
In the tournament that commenced on April 26, 2025 at Namboole, Nyonyi Nyange started on a high note, scoring over 100 goals in the opening two games.
They went on to win all their matches before being shocked by Mbwa at the quarterfinals; however, Mbwa was later disqualified for using an ineligible player.
The disqualification of Mbwa led to the recall of last year’s Shield winner to rejoin the semifinal.
After returning, Nyonyi Nyange eliminated Ngeye by 25-22, while Mamba Namakaka stopped Ngoonge by 22-21.
Last year, Nyonyi Nyange also defeated Mamba Namakaka.
Throughout the tournament, experienced player Rachael Nanyonga recorded the most goals, 176, to win the top shooting award.
In the same tournament, Lillian Nabunya was again announced as the player of the tournament, as was last year.
With the performances, she guided her clan to third place on both occasions.
In the third-place playoff, Ngeye defeated Ngoonge by 25-22.
