Uganda National Basketball League (NBL) giants City Oilers have added a quadruple of new faces as they ready themselves ahead of the second round.

The four include Kenyan duo of Davis Siaji and Bramwell Muchina, Nigerian Francis Azolibe and Silverbacks player Mohammed Ghedi Abdihakim.

Siaji, a shooting guard joins from Equity Bank basketball club, Kenya whereas Muchina is from Kenyatta University basketball club.

It is however unlikely that Muchina will join this soon, as he is engaged with the Kenyan national team which is undertaking preparations for the Commonwealth Games in England.

Meanwhile, Azolibe returns since leaving in 2020 after his two-year contract was mutually terminated.

Abdihakim is reknown for his exploits with the Uganda National Basketball team, the Silverbacks.

The City Oilers finished the first round second, only behind the UCU Canons.
