Football governance must always be guided by the principles of democracy, constitutionalism, and respect for established institutions. Every stakeholder has the right to express opinions, raise concerns, and hold leaders accountable. However, any effort to seek change in football leadership must be pursued through the constitutional and statutory mechanisms provided within FUFA, not through social media campaigns, personal attacks, or public pressure outside the established structures.

FUFA is governed by statutes that clearly outline how leaders are elected, evaluated, challenged, or replaced. These statutes were developed to ensure fairness, transparency, and stability, and to protect the game from personal interests and emotions. Any individual or group that wishes to advocate for leadership change should utilize the constitutional avenues available through the FUFA structures and General Assembly, which remains the supreme decision-making body of the federation.

It is also important to acknowledge the progress that Ugandan football has registered over the years. The growth of football infrastructure, increased participation in competitions, improved administration, enhanced visibility of Ugandan football, development programs, and stronger international relationships have all contributed to the advancement of the game. While no administration is perfect and constructive criticism is always welcome, an honest assessment requires recognition of both achievements and challenges.

Former players deserve respect for their contribution to the game, just as bloggers and media personalities have a role in promoting discussion and accountability. However, influence and experience should be used to unite and build football rather than create division or undermine established institutions without following due process.

The future of Ugandan football will not be secured through social media battles, personal grievances, or campaigns driven by dissatisfaction. It will be secured through constructive engagement, respect for the rule of law, adherence to FUFA statutes, and commitment to the interests of football above individual ambitions.

If change is desired, let it be pursued constitutionally. If concerns exist, let them be presented through the appropriate organs of FUFA. That is the democratic path, the legal path, and the path that best serves the game we all love.

Football must always come first, not individual ambitions like some of our colleagues I see here on the platform, who can not even head their own homes
