Kisenyi FC was dominant against Park FC, despite the defending champions winning the clash by a score of 4-3.

With Kisenyi FC running everywhere on the court in an effort to commence their winning streak, Park FC was sharper, capitalizing on a few chances to score goals.

Captain Shafiq Mulangira contributed to the win with a brace, while Derick Walugembe and Joshua Aziku scored the other two goals.

Despite Kisenyi’s classy display, Park FC started strong in the 8th minute when Derick Walugembe opened the scoring, but league top scorer Ilyas Omran equalized immediately after a few seconds with a sensational finish.

Shafiq Mulangira restored the lead for Park FC, which was maintained until halftime. Later in the second half, the captain himself extended the lead to 3-1 with seven and a half minutes remaining on the clock.

Kisenyi FC refused to go down easily, as Ilyas pulled another goal back with a fabulous left-footed shot but Park FC, through their star player Aziku, again restored a two-goal gap.

With the two goals coming in a span of four minutes, another goal came just a minute after Aziku’s goal, as Ilyas complete his hat trick for the day.

Despite being on the losing side losing their five-game winning streak, Ilyas maintained the form that won him the Player of the Month award he received before the game.

Now, the left-footed magician is comfortably leading the top scoring chart with 39 goals, sitting 11 goals ahead of runner-up Gadafi Bazanyanengo, who has 28 goals.

For Park FC, with a hard-fought win, Mengo City secured a sweatless three points following the continuing absence of Busunju Spaks.

With the points, Mengo City kept themselves in the top spot of the league, reaching 60 points and sitting one point ahead of Park FC with one round remaining to wind up the league.

In the final league match scheduled for Friday, May 9th, at Old Kampala Futsal Arena, Mengo will face Crown Lubiri, and Park will clash with QC Mbarara.

Back in week 21, hosted at Old Kampala Futsal Arena, there were four other games that took place.

Opening the matchday, Kabowa Dream Team defeated Kabuusu Cloud, with Abdul Swabur Mugenyi scoring the comfortable winner just eight seconds before the final whistle.

Nansana ASKA earned the biggest margin of the day, winning 7–2 over Kisugu FC, as Nansana ASKA got back on track after last week’s 8-0 defeat.

In the third match of the day, Crown Lubiri picked up their first win in a while after beating QC 3-1.

Edgar’s Youth Programme continued their form with a 5–0 victory over Lubaga Grameen, achieving their first clean sheet of the season and becoming the second team to collect a clean sheet against Grameen this season.
