Shammah High School Mityana, a school in Kabule, 5KM off Tanda stage in Mityana district, has established a new women’s football club called Shammah Queens Mityana FC.

The club is under the management of the school and will compete in the FUFA Women’s Buganda Region League starting with the 2023/24 season.

Ivor Sempa Kimbugwe, the former CEO of Uganda Martyrs Lubaga WFC, has joined Shammah Queens Mityana FC as the club’s CEO.

Kimbugwe is a highly experienced football administrator who has a proven track record of success.

Under his management, Uganda Martyrs Lubaga WFC won their first ever FUFA Women’s Cup and first competitive title.

The school has a strong track record in sports, having won the beach soccer in the USSSA Balls Game II 2023 on the region league before finishing second on the National level in the girls category.

With Kimbugwe’s experience and the school’s strong sporting tradition, Shammah Queens Mityana FC is poised to be a force to be reckoned with in the FUFA Women’s Buganda Region League.
