Onduparaka FC skipper, Muhammad Shaban has agreed a deal on a return to thirteen-time Uganda Premier League Champions KCCA FC, according to multiple reports.
News of the move stemmed from Lugogo with some alleging that he had completed his medical on Wednesday. He’ll reportedly put pen to paper on a two year deal.
The forward finished last season with the Caterpillars, where he scored 15 goals, helping them avoid relegation.
This came after a hugely unsuccessful two-season stint at league champions, Vipers SC (2019-2021), as he endured a series of injury setbacks.
The 24 year-old was at the Lugogo side before, in the 2017/18 season where he scored 13 league goals, before making a big money move to Moroccan powerhouse, Raja Casablanca.
At Raja between 2018-2019, a number of injuries led to an unsuccessful spell, eventually he chose to move back to Uganda.
Shaban is set to become the seventh signing for the ‘Kasasiro Boys’ after Moses Waiswa, Faisal Wabyoona, Saidi Mayanja, Mohamed Ssenoga Kagawa, Allan Enyou, Simon Tshisungu Kankonde.
