Vipers SC goalkeeper Mutwalib Mugolofa has been sent to Uganda Premier League newcomers Kyetume FC on a season-long loan.

The St Mary’s Secondary School Kitende graduate leaves his boyhood club hoping to get more playing time, having failed to notch down a starting berth.

It is important to note that at Vipers, he has been playing fifth fiddle behind Alfred Mudekereza, Fabien Mutombora, Denis Kiggundu and fellow youngster, Jack Komakech.

At the Vipers feeder side, he won the 2019 Copa Coca Cola after defeating Jinja SS 3-1 at Kakindu.

He is a winner of the FUFA Juniors League with the Vipers youth team. He has previously featured for Mawogola Ssaza.

As they hope to make a strong return to the league, Kyetume has as well brought in Salim Sowedi as the new goalkeepers’ coach.
