As the End of the Season Uganda Premier League Awards return, Kati Kati Restaurant will be the host on Thursday, June 16.
The grand launch of the Awards was conducted at the same venue in Lugogo today, when the revelation was made.
The last time the above function was held was after the climax of the 2016/17 season when then KCCA FC striker Geoffrey Sserunkuma was crowned the Player of the season.
After the absence in the past five campaigns, the event has bounced back with 13 categories set to be rewarded next week.
Amongst the 13 categories, the Most Valuable Player and the Coach of the Season stand out.
The nominees will be determined by a selected committee, journalists, and fans and it is still the above-mentioned set of people that will decide who wins what.
The headline sponsor for the Awards will be Pilsner Lager, who is also the sponsor of the monthly Uganda Premier League Awards.
