Uganda Premier League champions Vipers SC will lock-horns with record holders SC Villa in what promises to be a mouthwatering encounter at the St Mary’s Stadium, Kitende on Tuesday.

The former has lost just once this campaign, winning five times and managing two draws in their eight games.

In more excellent statistics, cutting through to last season, the Venoms have lost just once in the past 32 games across all competitions.

Meanwhile, the guests have had a challenging spell on and off the pitch, having had an excellent start to the campaign.

Due to their fans’ hooliganism, they lost two points, two goals and now host their matches upcountry, in Lira at the Aki Bua Stadium.

The Jogoo have also lost three of their past six matches including a 3-0 defeat to KCCA FC last time out.

Previously, it’s the Venoms who hold the lion’s share in terms of League victories. The latter have 14 compared to seven for Villa, while 12 have ended in stalemates.

Villa only have one win in the past five, whereas the hosts have four wins, including last season’s 3-0 Kitende victory, thanks to Yunus Sentamu and two goals from former top-scorer, Cesar Manzoki.
