- Mbarara City FC 1-2 Police FC
- Buhimba United Saints FC 1-2 Entebbe UPPC FC
Police FC left it late to stun Mbarara City 2-1 on Thursday, a result that deepens the hosts’ growing relegation worries at Rwamwanja Stadium in Kamwenge.
Mbarara City, fighting to stay afloat, made the brighter start and were rewarded just before halftime when Muhammad Kanyike fired them into the lead. For a moment, it felt like a turning point. But once again, they could not hold on.
Police returned for the second half with more purpose. Daniel Jakony drew them level in the 73rd minute, setting up a tense finish.
Just as the game seemed headed for a draw, substitute Paul Mark Teny struck in stoppage time to complete the comeback and snatch all three points.
It was a painful ending for Mbarara City, who are now winless in seven matches, with just one victory in their last twelve. They remain 14th on 16 points, only a point above the drop zone.
For Police, the win ends a brief dip in form after losses to Express and NEC. They stay seventh with 37 points and regain some momentum.
In Butema, Entebbe UPPC finally found relief, edging Buhimba United Saints 2-1 to end a five-game winless run.
Buhimba took the lead through Anwar Ntege in the 36th minute, but Entebbe responded before the break, with Ambrose Kigozi leveling the score.
The game looked set to end in a draw until stoppage time, when Isa Mubiru’s deflected cross crept in to hand the visitors a late winner.

Buhimba’s troubles worsened when David Kasaija was sent off late on.
They remain second from bottom on 15 points, while Entebbe move up to fifth with 40.
Next, Mbarara City host Maroons as they search for a way out of trouble, while Police face URA.
Entebbe welcome KCCA, and Buhimba take on Vipers. URA will later play BUL at Hamz Stadium, Nakivubo.
Later on Thursday, URA FC are set to host BUL FC at Hamz Stadium, Nakivubo at 8 pm.
