2025/26 Uganda Premier League | Tuesday April 28, 2026 | MD 26

  • BUL FCVs NEC FC – FUFA Technical Centre, Njeru | 4 pm
  • Mbarara City FCVs Express FC – Rwamwanja stadium, Kamwenge | 4 pm
  • URA FC Vs Maroons FC – Hamz stadium, Nakivubo | 8 pm

Pressure is building at Hamz Stadium Nakivubo, where URA host Maroons knowing they must finally turn results around.

The Tax Collectors are winless in five matches, their last victory coming in mid March.

Since then, they have slipped into 11th place with 24 points, still too close to danger for comfort.

A dull goalless draw with UPDF last time out summed up their struggles, solid in moments, but lacking the cutting edge to win games. Hussein Mbalangu’s side now need a response.

Maroons arrive with clearer purpose. Ninth on 33 points, they are chasing a top eight finish and know a win could lift them further up.

Recent history between the two sides offers little separation, but current form puts the pressure squarely on URA.

Earlier, attention turns to Fufa Technical Centre Njeru, where BUL face NEC in a key clash.

NEC come in unbeaten in 16 matches, built on a disciplined defence that has not conceded in nine straight games.

Sitting fifth with 42 points, they are quietly pushing toward the top four.

BUL, eighth with 34 points, ended their own rough patch by beating Express and will look to build on that at home, even though they have never beaten NEC.

In Kamwenge, Rwamanja Stadium hosts a tense survival battle as Mbarara City take on Express.

Mbarara City are struggling. Winless in nine matches, they sit just three points above the drop zone.

Their last outing, a 2-2 draw after throwing away a two goal lead captured their fragile form.

Express are not entirely comfortable either. Ninth with 30 points, they have gone two games without a win after their momentum was stopped by BUL.

Still, they remain in the hunt for a top eight finish and will see this as a chance to steady themselves.
