League champions Vipers SC and Wakiso Giants FC settled for a point each after a one-all stalemate at the Kabaka Kyabaggu Stadium, on Tuesday.

Hillary Mukundane‘s second half goal cancelled out Ibrahim Kasule‘s earlier headed effort on a chilly evening in Wakiso.

It is the guests who had the first real threat, but Cromwel Rwothomio’s shot missed the target by a few inches, in the ninth minute.

Two minutes later, the hosts netted through Owen Kasule’s looping header after a mistake from custodian Alfred Macumu Mudekereza.

Yunus Sentamu thought he had netted the equalizer but his 15th minute strong header crashed against the crossbar.

Vipers kick-started the second half in full gear and in the 59th minute, Mukundane took full advantage of a defensive mix-up in the box, to level matters.

Both teams pushed for a winner on numerous occasions until the final whistle hence the game ending in a draw with Wakiso goalkeeper Samson Kirya being the busiest candidate.
