Vipers SC, the reigning champions of the Uganda Premier League, have appointed Brazilian coach Leonard Martins Neiva as their new head coach.
Neiva takes over from Alex Isabirye, who resigned last week after falling out with the club’s administration.
Neiva is a well-traveled coach with experience in Africa, Asia, and North America.
He previously worked at Tanzania’s Young Africans SC, where he won both the Super Cup and the Premier League in 2014/15.
He has also coached in Myanmar, Brazil, Jamaica, and Sudan.
Neiva is a highly motivated and experienced coach who is known for his attacking style of play.
