Pacy and versatile midfielder-cum forward, Allan Kayiwa has ended his stint at five-time Uganda Premier League champions, Vipers Sports Club.
The former Tooro United player, who joined in 2019, has left St Mary’s Stadium a Uganda Premier League champion, on two occasions.
“Once a Venom, always a Venom. Thank you Vipers,” he bade farewell via his Twitter account on Wednesday.
Kayiwa won the league in his first campaign at Kitende, in 2019/20 and did it again in 2021/22.
The fleet-footeed player also won the 2021 Uganda Cup under the guidance of a then new head coach, Brazilian Roberto Oliveira alias Robertinho.
He was robbed of playing time during his time with the moneybags, but hopes to find more at his new home.
A number of reports have alleged interest from URA FC whereas others have pointed towards a move to one of Rwanda or Tanzania.
Kayiwa is a mould of Soana Young, and he broke on to the local scene in 2015.
