Arua Hill SC head coach head coach Charles Livingstone Mbabazi, his assistant Yusuf Ssenyonjo, defender Bright Joseph Vuni and goalkeeper Richard Anyama have had their gross misconduct punished by FUFA.

The FUFA Competitions Disciplinary Panel issued out suspensions to the quartet following ugly scenes in the Leopards’ 2-0 defeat to Gaddafi FC at Kakindu under a fortnight ago.

Mbabazi, alongside Ssenyonjo have been suspended for one competition match effective immediately as of 30th November. The pair has also been fined UGX 500,000 apiece.

Meanwhile, Vuni and Anyama have been suspended for two competition matches effective 30th November 2022.

The incident that sparked the four into attacking the match officials, arrived at the hour-mark when referee Siraji Mpyangu allowed Gaddafi to take a quick free-kick.

The freekick, which was not taken from the actual spot of the foul, freed Godfrey Lwesibawa on the right who then delivered a cross that was turned in by Alex Kitata.

It is a huge blow for both the players and Mbabazi who have endured an indifferent campaign so far.
