Can BUL maintain scintillating start in visit to Gaddafi?

BUL FC will look to extend their impressive start to the 2022/23 Uganda Premier League when they visit huge summer spenders, Gaddafi Modern FC today evening at the latter’s Arena

The Oil Manufacturers have three wins from four going into the clash and currently occupy top spot with 10 points.

The 2021/22 Uganda Cup winners also boast the best attack in the league, having put ten past their opponents, and will seek to extend this run.

“There is neither a weak team nor a strong one between BUL and Gaddafi – we are equally at the same level,” deputy BUL FC coach Richard Kasule said via Club media.

“But we are not on top by chance, it’s by hard work. we think day and night, and put in a lot of efforts to bring a difference in what we do.”

“Many people term this match as a derby and I concur with them because we share the same fans and we hail from the same area but this match is just like any other, so, our approach will not be any different.”

Meanwhile, the Army side are 12th on the table ahead of the tie following two draws and one defeat at the hands of record champions SC Villa.

In their last match, the side coached by Wasswa Bbosa came from behind through Brian Kalumba to draw 1-1 away to Express FC and, their fighting spirit will be put to the test once again.
