KCCA FC assistant captain Denis Iguma was sent for early showers during his team’s narrow 1-0 victory over UPDF FC last week, for violent conduct after a physical altercation with Ibrahim Magandazi.

Iguma, who was meant to sit out just two games for the red card, has had his punishment increased by the FUFA Competitions Disciplinary Panel to three games.

“Dennis Iguma breached Article 31 of the FUFA Competitions Rules and the CDP hereby; Suspends Dennis Iguma in addition to the automatic suspension by the match official; for one extra FUFA competition match,” a Friday FUFA statement read.

“The player shall miss a total of the next three physically played games after match No.45 UPDF FC Vs KCCA FC in which he head-butted the opponent.”

“A Cash fine of UGX 500,000 (Uganda Shillings Five Hundred Thousand) to be paid into the FUFA Account and bring proof of payment of the same to the committee.”

“The above fine is to be paid by the completion of his entire suspension and failure to pay shall lead to automatic suspension until the fine is paid in full.”

“Should he fail to heed to the sanctions above, the CDP shall be constrained to take stronger disciplinary measures against all parties involved,” the statement concluded.

Iguma missed KCCA’s home game with URA on Saturday and,  will now sit out the games against SC Villa and Gaddafi FC.
