After a humble start with a 0-0 draw against Kitgum Standard, debutant Madina Islamic sparked with a 4-0 win over Lumino High School at Dr. Obote College.
Jjingo Shaim, Swamadu Tenywa, Shakibu Ssempijja, and Michel Kabika scored the goals that took the Sheiks close to round 32 ahead of the final group game against Masaka SS.
Masaka SS has already picked up two straight wins, beating Lumino High School 2-0 and Kitgum Standard 1-0 to reach the knockout stage.
With Masaka SS only seeking to lead Group M, the battle for second place to progress from the group remains between Madina Islamic and Kitgum Standard.
Madina Islamic will face Masaka SS, while Kitgum Standard will face Lumino High School. A point will be enough for Madina Islamic, while Kitgum Standard will seek maximum points.
