Former Vipers SC midfielder Moses Waiswa has been unveiled by KCCA FC at the Omondi Stadium, Lugogo becoming their first signing in the ongoing transfer window.

The 2018 FUFA Male Footballer of the Year, who underwent a medical on Monday, was declared a ‘Kasasiro’, signing a two year employment contract.

“One of my set goals is to help the team attain the success it deserves and to also help me get where I deserve to be,” said Waiswa to the club media.

The silky midfielder left Vipers in 2020 to join Supersport United in South Africa on a two year contract, where he has blown hot and cold.

He has struggled to nail a regular place in their eleven, but has seldom missed being in the matchday squads.

“I want to use the experience got from South Africa, playing with some of the best players at the continent, to help the younger players here and help the club attain the set goals as well,” he added.

“I have engaged with a number of former and current players while on the national team, the likes of Allan Okello, Mustapha Kizza, Rogers Mato. They’ve made me fall in love with KCCA.”

“Fans should expect a professional and dedicated player, ready to 100% serve KCCA,” he concluded.

Waiswa, a St Mary’s Secondary School Kitende old student, has previously featured for Vaxjo in Sweden, Vipers and Supersport United.
