The long awaited fixture for the 2022/23 Women Netball Super League for first round has been released and set to throw off in the last week of September.

Initially, 14 teams were expected to feature in this year’s edition but, only 12 are on fixture as Airforce Netball Club and KBK (Kwebiha, Bwambale and Kamulegeya) Netball club failed to meet the licensing requirements according to league organizers.

For starters, the league was meant to throw off on 2nd September 2022 according to the first communication but was later postponed to 24th of the same month.

This move was to give all clubs more time to jump the licensing hurdles but was in vain hence the fixtures of the first round games being released minus the above mentioned two clubs.

Fast forward, the two opening fixtures will see newcomers, Africa Renewal University Netball club host the oldest club so far in league, Posta Netball.

The other fixture will have two league debutants, Mutelx-Sport Life NC and UCU Netball Club fighting for a maiden win at the big stage.

This season will be played on four grounds, that is; Bombo Amary ground, Kamwokya TLC, Old Kampala Arena and Busia Greater Lions NC Arena in Busia.
