Five-time Uganda Premier League champions Vipers Soccer Club have unveiled Brazilian-Spanish coach Beto Bianchi as the new head coach.

The 56 year old experienced tactician has penned down a two-year employment contract at the St Mary’s Stadium, Kitende, replacing Roberto Oliveira alias Robertinho who left for Tanzanian giants Simba SC.

He will have fellow national Roberto Martinez as the first assistant, Richard Wasswa as the second deputy and Ibrahim Mugisha will continue as the goalkeeping coach.

In his most notable assignments, Bianchi has worked with African powerhouse Petro du Luanda between 2016-2019 and the Angolan national team in 2017.

The UEFA A Pro and the CAF A license holder will be tasked to lead the Venoms to the CAF Champions League knockout stages.

His other immediate job will be to defend the Uganda Premier League, as they currently occupy the third spot on the log behind KCCA FC and BUL FC.
