The National Boxing team, the Bombers, continues with preparations for the Commonwealth Games due in July 2026.
On Wednesday June 17, UBF president Moses Muhangi and National Council of Sports officials led by assistant general secretary Milton Chebet paid a courtesy visit to the team at the Hamz Nakivubo Stadium.

The six-member team will be under Twaibu Mayanja as the coach and Bate Nuhu as the captain.

The others are Katushabe Angel, Emily Nakalema, Aziz Ringo, Alfred Ojok and Khemis Ibrahim.
The team will have a residential camp before departure.
