A total of six teams booked their slots in the Round of 32 of the Stanbic Uganda Cup from yesterday’s round of 64 games.
Among them were four Regional League teams namely; Kigezi HomeBoyz, Mbale Heroes, Adjumani Town Council, and Lugazi.
Kigezi HomeBoyz eliminated FUFA Big League side Booma FC following a 2-1 win at Kabale Municipal Stadium.
Mbale Heroes beat Araka 2-0 at Mbale Stadium while Adjumani dumped out Simba FC 4-2 in the penalty shootouts after a 1-1 draw in normal time at Namulonge Grounds in Gayaza.
Elsewhere, Lugazi also edged Water 5-4 in the post-match penalties following a 1-1 stalemate at UICT Grounds.
The other two fixtures featuring StarTimes Uganda Premier League sides had both of them advance.
Wakiso Giants FC defeated Fort Portal Boda Boda 3-1 at Buhinga Stadium in Fort Portal while Busoga United picked a walkover against JLOS.
