Wanderers Cricket Club climbed up to second in Group B following their doubleheader wins over Patidar.
The side won the National T20 League morning match by 3 wickets before a staggering 101-run win in the afternoon.
Former Cricket Cranes captain Davis Karashani solely took care of Patidar as he claimed four wickets in the first game.
Abu Seguya (27) and Ivan Kakande (16) scored the most runs for the Wanderers who tracked down Patidar’s 90 runs with a couple of balls to spare.
In the afternoon game, Kakande emulated Karashani’s display with the ball as he picked four wickets on Sunday at the Entebbe Oval.
That was after Jonathan Afunaaduula (38), Sadam Oyaga (34), Seguya (28) and Geoffrey Gandi (21 not out) had put the score beyond their opponents’ reach (139 runs).
Patidar with no single player scoring in double figures only managed 38 runs in their chase before they were all bowled out in the 13th Over.
Arnold Tembo with two wickets to his name plus Gandi and Peter Tusiime each with one were the other bowlers who put Patidar to the sword.
Patidar remains rooted to the bottom while Wanderers are now second, just two points ahead of Nyakasura, who have played two games less.
