The fixture for the 2022/23 Uganda Premier League released on Thursday, has West Nile powerhouse, Onduparaka FC having two different homes.
Bombo Military Barracks Ground has been added to their usual home, Ababet Greenlight Stadium, as the two grounds that will harbor the Caterpillars’ home games.
They will host their first five home games at Bombo, before returning to their natural home for the remainder of the campaign.
The development follows hooliganism acts they were involved in during their fixture with KCCA FC in Arua last season.
SC Villa, Express FC, Busoga United FC, Wakiso Giants FC, and KCCA FC are the five home games they will play at Bombo.
Onduparaka will start the season away from home against URA FC on Saturday, October 1.
In another development, according to said fixtures their arch-rival, Arua Hill SC will be hosting its games at the Greenlight Stadium throughout the entire campaign, and not their usual Barifa Stadium.
However Onduparaka FC management has since come out on their twitter handle to clarify that they appealed the decision barring them from playing 5 fixtures behind closed doors and outside of West Nile, and still await the decision of the Appeals committee.
The statement also categorically states that there is no agreement between Arua Hill SC and Onduparaka FC permitting the former to use Greenlight Stadium as a home ground.
